Kylie Jenner announces the birth of her first child

After months of secrecy Kylie Jenner reveals she had a beautiful and healthy baby girl on Feb. 1!

Back in September of 2017 news leaked that Kylie Jenner was pregnant with rapper Travis Scott, but the Kardashian-Jenner clan kept their lips sealed. For months there was no confirming or denying the news about the youngest sister of the family. On February 4, 2018, the reality star Kylie Jenner and rapper Travis Scott finally announced the birth of their first child together. According to People magazine, “The little girl weighed in at 8 lbs., 9 oz. and arrived at 4:43 p.m. local time.”

Jenner posted announcements on her personal social media platforms with a written statement of her journey along with a touching video message to her daughter posted onto YouTube. The 11-minute video, titled “To Our Daughter”, takes us behind the scenes of the young stars pregnancy.

"I'm sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions..." she said on Instagram on Sunday. "...My pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world.”

"Pregnancy has been the most beautiful, empowering, and life-changing experience I've had in my entire life and I'm actually going to miss it," she said.

As for new father, Travis Scott, a source told E News that, "He seems so happy and just keeps rubbing her head and saying, 'Daddy's here. Daddy's here.'"
